Components of installation of the ECT sensor
On the petrol V8 models the sensor is under a throttle case cover (address an illustration above) in the top part of the inlet pipeline. The sensor rearranges from itself a thermistor which resistance changes in inverse proportion to temperature of cooling liquid. The description of the procedure of check of the sensor is provided in the Section Information sensors - the general information and check of serviceability of functioning.

1. For removal of the sensor merge cooling liquid and uncover the throttle case. Remove a flange of an inlet air duct from the throttle case. Remove the throttle case for what disconnect from it a cable of an accelerator and give two bolts and two nuts of fastening.

Old laying can be thrown out – for installation it will be required new. |
2. Disunite the contact socket of the ECT sensor, then carefully turn out assembly from the landing nest.

Try to handle with the eats sensor extremely with care, – its damage is capable to affect serviceability of functioning of all power supply system. |

Old the sealing ring of the sensor can be thrown out – for installation it will be required new. |
3. Installation of the new sensor should be made as soon as possible for the purpose of minimization of losses of cooling liquid. Tighten the sensor and fixture of the case of a throttle with the required effort. In conclusion fill in cooling liquid, start the engine and be convinced of lack of leakages. |

Sensors of an air stream
MAF sensor
The MAF sensor is placed in an air inlet sleeve. The sensitive element of the sensor is incandescence thread. The sensor serves for determination of mass of the air which is soaked up in the engine in unit of time. 1. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the MAF sensor and separate assembly of the air cleaner from an air inlet sleeve (see the Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).

2. Give fixing screws and remove assembly of the MAF sensor from the air cleaner (address an accompanying illustration). |
3. Installation is made upside-down. |

IAT sensor
The IAT sensor is built in the case of the MAF sensor and not separately is not subject to replacement.
Lambda probes
|
Owing to temperature compression of components of system of production of the fulfilled gases at its cooling extraction the lambda probe can be accompanied by certain difficulties. In order to avoid risk of damage of the sensor at its reversing, previously warm up the engine within one-two minutes. Be careful, do not burn.

On the V8 models it is established the 4th lambda probe, – two verkhnepotochny, established ahead (on a stream) catalytic converters and two nizhnepotochny, screwed in section of system is lower (on a stream) than catalytic converters. Sensors trace the level of content of oxygen in the fulfilled engine gases. At service a lambda probes it is necessary to observe special precautionary measures:
- Lambda probe it is equipped tightly with the contact plug which is built in in it, equipped, an electrical wiring piece which performance of attempts of a detachment can be led to an irreversible exit of the probe out of operation;
- Try not to allow hits in blinds of the probe or in its electric socket of dirt and lubricants;
- Do not use for cleaning a lambda probe any solvents;
- Address with a lambda probe extremely carefully, do not drop it and try not to shake;
- The silicone protective cover has to put on on the sensor strictly definitely not to be melted and not to break serviceability of functioning of the probe.

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action! |
2. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. 3. Remove the thermofilters blocking access to the oxygen sensor which is subject to service. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor. 4. Accurately turn out fastening bolts a lambda probe to an element of system of release (a final collector or an exhaust pipe). 5. At installation of the probe its carving part should be greased with the anti-taking sealant.

The carving of the new sensor is usually already processed by the corresponding structure. |
6. Install the probe on the regular place and strongly tighten it. 7. Restore initial connection of an electrical wiring. 8. Lower the car and make its trial runs. Make sure of absence in memory of OBD codes of malfunctions. |

Sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS)
Location and fastening of TPS
The representing potentiometer of variable resistance of TPS fastens on the case of a throttle and is connected directly to an axis of a butterfly valve (address an illustration above). 1. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor.

Perhaps, for the purpose of ensuring access to the contact socket of the sensor, it is necessary to remove an inlet air duct. |
2. Turn out fixing screws and remove TPS from the throttle case. 3. At installation of the sensor track hit of the directing uvulas in reciprocal grooves on an axis of a butterfly valve. Check the TPS sensor. 4. Installation is made upside-down. |

Sensor of provision of a bent shaft (ICR)
Components of installation and check of the CKP sensor

1. Location of the CKP sensor is stated on an illustration above. For the purpose of ensuring access to a fixing bolt remove protection of a case. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor and give a bolt of its fastening to the oil pump. 2. Installation is made upside-down. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the sensor with the required effort. |

Sensor of position of the camshaft (ICR)

1. The sensor is installed in the left head of cylinders (address an illustration above). For the purpose of ensuring access to a fixing bolt merge cooling liquid and take off belts of the drive of auxiliary units. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor and give a bolt of its fastening and a hairpin. 2. Installation is made upside-down. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the sensor with the required effort. |

Detonation sensors

On engines 2UZ-FE on each head of cylinders about one sensor of a detonation is installed. |

Location of the sensor of a detonation is presented on an accompanying illustration. |

1. For removal of the sensor of a detonation merge cooling liquid and remove an inlet air duct. 2. Uncover a GRM drive belt, covering cogwheels of camshafts. 3. Remove the top part of the inlet pipeline and the regulator of pressure of fuel. 4. Remove the inlet pipeline. 5. Pick up the water perepuskny phone and disconnect conducting of sensors. Remove sensors. 6. Installation is made upside-down. Having screwed sensors, tighten with the required effort. Fill in cooling liquid. |
