Replacement of a forward epiploon of a bent shaft and epiploons of the camshaft and TNVD

The procedure of replacement of these epiploons is identical on condition that the forward epiploon of a bent shaft and an epiploon of TNVD are established in a cover of cogwheels (see the Section Removal and installation of cogwheels of the GRM drive), and a camshaft epiploon – in a back cover of a belt of the GRM drive (see the Section Removal, installation, dismantling and assembly of a head of cylinders).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the components closing access to the corresponding epiploon or remove a cover in which the replaced epiploon is established (see the Sections Removal, installation, dismantling and assembly of a head of cylinders and Removal and installation of cogwheels of the GRM drive).
2. In case of replacement of an epiploon at not uncovered, the old epiploon can be taken from its landing nest the special tool, or the screw-driver (address an illustration). Try not to leave scratches and zadir on a surface of a pin of a shaft or walls of a landing nest, existence of similar defects will lead to bystry failure of a new epiploon.
3. In case of replacement of an epiploon at uncovered beat out an epiploon from a cover, having used the screw-driver and the hammer.
4. Smooth out an internal surface of a landing nest. Slightly grease the outer edge of a new epiploon with pure motive oil, in sponges of an epiploon fill universal lubricant.
5. Having used a face head of the corresponding size, or a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter as a mandrel, put a new epiploon in the nest (address an illustration) (the mandrel has to rest only against the firm outer edge of a face surface of an epiploon) on the same depth on which old was drowned. Make sure of correctness of landing of an epiploon.
6. Install into place the being removed components (see the Sections Removal, installation, dismantling and assembly of a head of cylinders and Removal and installation of cogwheels of the GRM drive).
7. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of leak of oil around landing of an epiploon.
