Removal and installation of a driving disk

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
|

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action! |
The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove transmission (see the Head Korobk of gear shifting).
2. By means of a center punch or a marker mark the provision of a driving disk in relation to an end face of a bent shaft.
3. Turn out bolts of fastening of a driving disk to a bent shaft. If in the course of weakening of bolts the shaft begins to be turned, bring the screw-driver to flywheel wreath teeths.
4. Remove assembly of a driving disk from a bent shaft.

The weight of assembly is very considerable, - it will be reasonable to resort to the help of the assistant. Put on working gloves not to cut a hand about keen edges of teeths of a wreath. Remove the remote plates which are also established on both sides of a driving disk, try to remember an order of installation of components. |

Installation
|
|
1. Carefully degrease assembly of a driving disk and check its working surfaces for existence of cracks, the furrows left heads of rivets, traces of an overheat and other damages. Insignificant defects can be removed by means of a fine-grained emery paper, in more serious cases assembly is subject to replacement. Check a condition of teeths of a wreath, having laid assembly of a driving disk on a flat surface, estimate the size of its not planeness.
2. Smooth out and examine the interfaced surfaces of a driving disk and a pin of a bent shaft. In case of need make replacement of a back epiploon (see the Section Replacement of a Back Epiploon of a Bent Shaft).
3. Remove traces of old sealant from bolts and bolted openings.

If completely it is not possible to clear bolts, replace them new on which sealant should not be applied any more. |
4. Do not forget to establish remote plates. Track correctness of combination of the components of landing tags put in the course of dismantle. Before rolling fixing bolts, grease their carving part with the fixing sealant.
5. Having blocked a driving disk from a provorachivaniye (see paragraph 3), in a diagonal order tighten fixing bolts with the required effort.
6. Further installation is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components. |
