Removal, installation and adjustment of a cable of an accelerator

Adjustment of a hummock of the drive of a tempostat is made in a similar manner.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

2. Weaken a lock-nut of a carving tip of fastening of a cable to the lever of the drive of a butterfly valve (see an accompanying illustration).

3. Having turned the lever, release from it a cable tip.
4. Disconnect a cable from the accelerator pedal and turn out two screws of fastening of a cover of hummock assembly to a partition of a motive compartment.
5. Involve a cable in a motive compartment.

Installation and adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made upside-down, track reliability of landing in an opening in a partition of the rubber plug through passage.
2. Squeeze out against the stop the accelerator pedal and make sure of completeness of opening of a butterfly valve.
3. If the gate opens not up to the end, weaken lock-nuts, squeeze out a pedal and make the corresponding adjustment of a cable.
4. Tighten lock-nuts, make sure that at a pedal otpuskaniye the gate is completely closed.
