Details of installation of the case of a throttle on engines 2UZ-FE
The throttle case device on engines 2UZ-FE is a little original. The driving cable performs only preliminary function. Management of a butterfly valve electronic. On the case of a throttle the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS) which informs ECU on its current situation is installed. Tension on conclusions of VTA and VTA2 ECU changes from 0 to 5 V in proportion to the angle of opening of a butterfly valve. At this ECU, comparing the received signal to signals from other sensors, gives the command to an electric motor with magnetic coupling of the drive of a butterfly valve to modify its situation (if it is necessary) according to requirements of a leg of the driver". If a butterfly valve, any of elements of electronic control, fails, its drive is carried out only by means of a pedal and a cable, and closing – an osredstvo of a returnable spring. The system demands at the treatment of accuracy of her. Do not allow blows and do not drop system at all. Accuracy is required also at the address with electric connections.

1. Remove an acoustic/decorative cover of the engine (address an illustration above). 2. Merge cooling liquid. 3. Remove the top part of the inlet pipeline. 4. Disconnect an accelerator cable from the throttle case. 5. Disconnect the electric socket from TPS. 6. Disconnect the electric socket of an electric motor of management of a butterfly valve. 7. Disconnect the socket of the sensor of provision of a pedal of an accelerator. 8. Disconnect conducting of the sensor from two collars on a conducting arm 9. Disconnect a hose of ventilation of a case and water perepuskny a hose from the throttle case. 10. Remove a ventilating cap. Give two bolts and two nuts and remove the throttle case from the inlet pipeline. Disconnect water perepuskny a hose from the thermostat on the case of a throttle and remove the throttle case from the engine. Remove laying. 11. Installation is made upside-down. Establish new laying of the case of a throttle. Track that fixing bolts and nuts were tightened with the required effort. Fill in cooling liquid. Start the engine and be convinced of lack of leakages. |

2. The scheme of installation and a design of the regulator of pressure of fuel are given on illustrations above. Disconnect a vacuum hose from pressure regulator. 3. Get drain capacity under a fuel return hose, or wrap up it rags. 4. Squeeze a fixing collar and disconnect a hose of return of fuel from pressure regulator. 5. On the V8 models give a lock-nut and remove the regulator about a sealing ring. 6. Do not forget to replace a sealing ring and track correctness of landing of the regulator on the highway. Further installation is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components. |

Components of system of injection of fuel

1. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Section Dropping Pressure in a power supply system) and disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

2. Uncover the case of a throttle and the top part of the inlet pipeline (see the Head Dvigatel). 3. Having prepared for a spill of fuel, remove a damper of pulsations of fuel, the top laying and fuel-supply lines (address an illustration above). 4. Remove a cable of an accelerator and give two nuts of fastening from an arm (see the Section Removal, installation and adjustment of a cable of an accelerator). 5. Remove a hose from the PCV valve. 6. Disconnect the electric socket from the electrovacuum valve of the EVAP system. Disconnect a collar of fastening of a cable of an accelerator and remove the electrovacuum EVAP valve from an inlet collector. 7. Disconnect the diagnostic DLC1 socket from an arm of a cover of the case of a throttle, then turn out a bolt and remove an arm. 8. Mark and disconnect collars of fastening of conducting of the engine from arms. 9. Give a bolt of fastening of a collar on a returnable fuel tube to the left part of the fuel highway. Turn out bolts from a forward (transitional) fuel tube. 10. Hang identification labels on contact sockets of each of injectors. Disconnect an electrical wiring from injectors and shift a plait aside. 11. Give four nuts of fastening of fuel highways to the lower part of the inlet pipeline. 12. Remove fuel highways together with injectors, four remote plugs and eight insulators. Be accurate. Injectors hold only the account of sealing rings, at removal of fuel highways do not drop injectors. 13. Establish on all injectors a sealant, grease new sealing rings with gasoline and establish them on injectors.

14. Slightly rotating an injector to the left-to the right, insert it into a nest on the fuel highway (address an accompanying illustration). Establish thus all injectors. |
15. Establish fuel highways by sockets of injectors up. 16. Install new insulators and plugs on the places on the inlet pipeline. Acquire bolts of fastening of fuel highways to the inlet pipeline. 17. Be convinced of a possibility of injectors to rotate. If the injector "got stuck", check the provision of a sealing ring or replace it. 18. Attach sockets of injectors according to the hung labels. 19. Further installation is made upside-down. track that all fixture was tightened with the required effort. 20. Start the engine and make sure of lack of leakages. |
