Check of serviceability of functioning, replacement of an electric motor of the drive of screen wipers and pump of washers

Check of an electric motor of the drive of screen wipers

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At delay of functioning of screen wipers first of all it is necessary to check battery charge level (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car). If the battery as it should be, remove an electric motor of the drive of screen wipers (see below) and estimate freedom of the course of levers of the last manually. In case of identification of signs of jamming grease joints of driving drafts, or make the corresponding recovery repair. Establish into place an electric motor. If the speed of the movement still remains insufficient, estimate a condition of contact connections of an electrical wiring of the corresponding chain. If an electrical wiring as it should be, replace an electric motor.
2. At refusal of activation of screen wipers check a condition of the corresponding safety lock. If a safety lock as it should be, duplicate grounding of an electric motor a wire crossing point and repeat check. If this time screen wipers earn, make recovery repair of grounding of a driving electric motor, otherwise include screen wipers, disconnect an electrical wiring from the motor (address an accompanying illustration) and check serviceability of giving of food for it. If food does not move, check serviceability of a condition of the corresponding understeering switch (see the Section Search of Causes of Failures of Electric Equipment). If tension moves regularly, replace an electric motor.

3. For the purpose of ensuring access to contact plugs of an electric motor of the drive of a back screen wiper remove the panel of an internal upholstery of a door of a back (see the Head Kuzov).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the panel of a forward fairing (see the Head Kuzov) and disconnect an electrical wiring from a driving electric motor of screen wipers.
2. Turn out fixing bolts.
3. Disconnect the executive lever of the pump from draft of the drive of screen wipers (address an accompanying illustration the Typical scheme of the drive of levers of screen wipers of a windshield).
4. For removal of drafts turn out bolts of fastening them to a fairing (address an illustration).
5. Installation is made upside-down.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Having hooked, remove a decorative cover and give a nut of fastening of the lever of a screen wiper (address an illustration above).
2. Open a back door, remove the panel of an internal upholstery and a cover of a service opening (see the Head Kuzov).
3. Turn out fixing bolts, disconnect an electrical wiring and remove a driving electric motor.
4. Installation is made upside-down.

Replacement of the pump

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a washer reservoir from the car.
2. Unfasten conducting of the pump from a tank.
3. Separate the conducting socket from the pump and remove the pump from a washer reservoir.
4. Remove a sealant and be convinced of its integrity.
5. Installation is made upside-down.
