Check of serviceability of functioning and replacement of the breaker of indexes of turns / alarm system and switch of the last

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see the Section of the Safety cushion - the general information). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

Check
Location of the breaker of indexes of turns / alarm system
The breaker of indexes of turns / the alarm system is fixed under the left lower section of finishing of the dashboard (address an illustration above).
Serviceability of functioning of the breaker is confirmed by distinctly heard rhythmical clicking. At refusal of one of indexes the frequency of operation of the breaker doubles, informing the driver on need of performance of the replacement which failed lamps/lamps.

| The simultaneous refusal of both indexes with high degree of probability demonstrates failure of the corresponding safety lock in the internal assembly block. Also the possibility of failure actually of the breaker, or the understeering switch is not excluded. Check a condition of contact connections of an electrical wiring of the corresponding chain. At knocking-out of a safety lock check an electrical wiring for existence of signs of short circuit, be verified with schemes of electric connections (see the Section of the Scheme of electric connections - the general information). |

1. Remove the left lower section of finishing of the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov) and disconnect an electrical wiring from assembly of the breaker and take the breaker.
2. Track that the replaceable breaker on the standard size corresponded failed.
3. Installation is made upside-down. |

Switch of the alarm system

| Having hooked, release assembly of the switch from the dashboard, disconnect an electrical wiring from the switch. |
