Schedule of routine maintenance

The intervals of routine maintenance of the car stipulated in the present Section are calculated on independent performance by the owner of the vehicle of all necessary procedures. Duration of intervals was defined proceeding from the assumption that the car is operated in the daily mode. Only on condition of a conscientious attitude of the owner to care of the vehicle it is possible to achieve the maximum return from the power unit of the car and its other knots and systems. It is worth to remember as well about need of maintenance of a trade dress of the car on a case of its resale. Constantly to support the vehicle at peak of a form, the following procedures should be performed slightly more often:

Outside of the car

Check a condition of tires and pressure of their rating (see Check of a condition of tires and pressure of their rating).
Check efforts of tightening of wheel nuts (see Specifications).
Check existence of leak of liquids under the car.

In the car

Check the working condition of a horn, headlights, fires and indexes of turns.
Check the working condition of seat belts (see the Section Check of a Condition of Seat Belts).
Check smoothness of the course and a free wheeling of a pedal of a brake (see the Section Adjustment of Height of Situation and Free Wheeling of a Pedal of a Brake).
Check softness and smoothness of the course of the accelerator pedal.
Check operability of brakes in the safe place (see the Section Check of the Brake System).

Under a cowl

Check the level of liquid of a screen wiper, cooling liquid, GUR working liquid and brakes (see the Sections Check of Levels of Liquids and Check of Level of Liquid of the Power Steering ).
Check the level of motive oil (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids).
Check electrolyte level (see the Section Check, service and charging of a battery room).
Check lack of progar, cracks and reliability of fastening of final system (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of System of Production of the Fulfilled Gases).

At operation of the car in the conditions of strongly dusty and broken roads, an intense city cycle (frequent short trips, long operation of the engine idling), negative temperature, and also at frequent towage of the trailer, intervals of performing procedures of routine maintenance have to be, whenever possible, reduced to a minimum.

Servicing of the new vehicle, in order to avoid violation of factory guarantee certificates, has to be made at company car repair shop of the company manufacturer of the car.

Through each 10 000 km of a run or times in 6 months (that will come earlier)

You make replacement of motive oil and an oil filter ** (see the Section Replacement of Motive Oil and Oil Filter).
Check the battery (see the Section Check, service and charging of a battery room).
You make rotation of wheels everyone (see the Section Rotation of Wheels).
Check a condition of spark plugs (the petrol engine) (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Spark Plugs (petrol engines)).
Check and/or regulate a pedal of a brake and the parking brake (see the Section Check of the Brake System and Adjustment of Height of Situation and a free wheeling of a pedal of a brake).
Check a condition of brake slips and disks ** (see the Section Check of the Brake System).
Check the level of working liquid of the brake system (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids).
Check the level of the GUR working liquid (see the Section Check of Level of Liquid of the Power Steering).
Grease driveshafts (see the Section Greasing of Components of the Chassis).
Check a condition of spherical support and protective covers of CV JOINTS of power shafts ** (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Suspension Bracket and Steering Drive and Check of a Condition of Protective Covers of Power Shafts ).
Check a condition of a forward and back suspension bracket ** (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Suspension Bracket and Steering Drive).
Check a condition of tires and pressure of their rating (see the Section Check of a Condition of Tires and Pressure of Their Rating).
Check a condition of all light devices and a horn.
Check a condition of screen wipers and washers (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Brushes of Screen Wipers).

Through each 20 000 km of a run or times in 12 months (that will come earlier)

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

Check a condition of belts of the drive of hinged units (see the Section Check of a State, adjustment of effort of a tension and replacement of driving belts).
Check a state and fastening of components of system of production of the fulfilled gases (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of System of Production of the Fulfilled Gases).
You make replacement of spark plugs (the petrol engine) (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Spark Plugs (petrol engines)).
Check a condition of the air filter ** (***) (see the Section Replacement of the Filtering Air Cleaner Element).
Check a condition of a sapun of a case of the engine and ventilating hoses (see the Sections Check of a State and Replacement of the hoses located in a motive compartment and Check and replacement of the valve of system of the operated ventilation of a case (PCV)).
Check a condition of brake shoes ** (see the Section Check of the Brake System).
Check a condition of hydraulic lines of the brake system ** (see the Sections Check of a State and Replacement of the hoses located in a motive compartment and Check of the brake system).
Check a condition of components of the steering mechanism ** (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Suspension Bracket and Steering Drive).
Check the level of the AT working liquid ** (see the Section Check of Level of the AT Working Liquid).
Check oil level in differential of the back bridge (see the Section Check of Level of Lubricant of Differential).
Tighten with the required effort of a nut of the chassis and a body ** (see Specifications and the Section Greasing of Components of the Chassis).
Check KV coolant level (see the Section Check and service of the conditioner of air (K/V)).

Through each 40 000 km of a run or times in 24 months (that will come earlier)

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

Check and/or regulate valvate gaps (see the Section Check and adjustment of gaps of valves).
Check a condition of hoses and connections of cooling systems and heating * (see the Sections Check of a Condition of Components of the Cooling System and Check of a State and replacement of the hoses located in a motive compartment).
Replace cooling liquid (see the Section Service of the Cooling System).
Replace the fuel filter (see the Section Replacement of the Fuel Filter).
Replace the air filter ** (***) (see the Section Replacement of the Filtering Air Cleaner Element).
Check a condition of a cover of the fuel tank and fuel-supply lines * (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Power Supply System).
Replace brake fluid (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids).
Check oil level in the transfer case ** (see the Section Check of Level of Lubricant in the transfer case).
Replace oil in differential of the back bridge (see the Section Differential Lubricant Replacement).

Through each 60 000 km of a run or times in 36 months (that will come earlier)

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

Replace belts of the drive of hinged units (see the Section Check of a State, adjustment of effort of a tension and replacement of driving belts).
Replace the AT working liquid ** (see the Section ATF Replacement of automatic transmission and main transfer).

Through each 80 000 km of a run, or time in 48 months (that will come earlier)

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

Replace oil in the transfer case (see the Section Replacement of Lubricant of the Transfer Case).

Through each 150 000 km of a run

Replace a GRM drive belt (see the Section Check of a State, adjustment of effort of a tension and replacement of driving belts).

* After the run of 80 000 km (or 48 months) check each 20 000 km (or 12 months)
** At operation in severe road conditions you make maintenance twice more often.
*** At operation on dusty roads check each 2500 km (or 3 months).
